Industry Trade Systems ITS, Inc.
was formed in 1996 with the mandate of developing a B2B (business-to-business) procurement system that would operate
on the internet, an intranet or an extranet. The system would have to be highly scaleable, capable of handling
any product or service for any industry and any type or size of business relationship.
The resulting design, known as tradeSys, was launched on the internet in March 1997 for its initial beta tests.

is also in the process of developing an entire suite of B2B e-commerce applications like the tradeSys RFQ Engine that improve the
efficiency of the procurement cycle for both buyers and suppliers.
